Will turbo tax honor guarantee to pay interest and penalties

Just received Notice of Proposed Assessment from State of California Franchise Tax Board for 2017 taxes.  FTB did not allow an itemized deduction that Turbo Tax recommended.  Will Turbo Tax honor their "100% Accurate Calculations Guarantee"?

But it only covers actual CALCULATION errors in the program, not user error (and it’s almost always user error), and it only pays any penalties or interest resulting from that error, not the taxes. Either way, you are still responsible for the increase in tax.
