The IRS does not email tax forms. Did you get a letter in the postal mail from the IRS?

Your question asks if TT will "edit" your 1040. No, no one is gong to edit your 1040. No one can change anything on your Form 1040 for you.  No one else has access to your tax return.

Was the email from TurboTax telling you that the Form 1040 is now available so that you can now finish and file your return?   It only became available in the last day or two.  So if that is what was holding you up and keeping you from efiling, then you should be able to go back in and finish.

If that's not what you're asking about, then we're not sure what you need to know.
