Will my IRS payment order process if the request for extension was rejected?

I filed for an extension via the Turbo Tax website.  I entered banking info to pay the estimated IRS tax.  Submitted the form.   Then a couple hours later, I got a message from Turbo Tax that my extension was rejected.

I need to know if the estimated payment will process or not?  I don't want to pay twice nor do I want any tax penalties if the payment will not happen.

No, if the extension was rejected, the IRS did not accept it and your bank information will not be processed.
