I've filed my taxes for 2019. I'm not a college student and I turned 24 in December. I never fully understood what dependent meant so I marked it thinking that I was just because I live with my parents but I pay for most of my things. I've made over 12,000 and they didn't claim me but I put that someone could. Do I still have a chance of getting a stimulus check?

No, if your return was marked as a dependent, you will not receive a Stimulus payment.
What if I amend my taxes? Will I eventually get the check?
Possibly, the IRS has not come out with enough information for us to know exactly how if you file an amended return if you will still receive the Stimulus Payment in 2019.
The $1200 is a credit that you may be able to claim on your 2020 tax return even if you did not receive the Stimulus Payment in 2019.
