Will a fraud alert delay my refund?

I placed a fraud alert on my social a month ago. Did my taxes January 29th and they don't say approved yet. Will the fraud alert delay it?

It's seems like we're in the same boat. O called today was was told to that a letter would be sent out..45 days waiting. Amy updates?

Same exact thing they told me! Except she said they're doing further processing to make sure that all my numbers match up and no one else has used my social. If they need more info they'll contact me. If not I'll just receive the refund within 45 days.

@ecarter36 I filed and was accepted on the 23, I was waiting for a code.or something but she said that she couldn't see  what the letter said

@sisykes yes that's weird you've been waiting longer than me hopefully you receive the letter soon! Its really a hassle getting in contact with them.

@ecarter  they haven't even sent the letter yet according to the rep and she doesn't know what it's about. Did u know what your letter would be about before u got it?

@sisykes  I didn't get a letter...she said they haven't mailed one out to me yet but she did say if I do receive one its to let me know why they're holding my refund.
