Why would turbo tax show a refund being increased after I filed my taxes and the irs say they see. The original amount I filed. It increased on here by double?

The IRS said it was the same as original but when I filed it was $4596 and now turbo tax says it’s $9920, Why would it do that?

Once the return is filed the IRS gets nothing more from TT so any changes that you made or were made via a program update ( like for the unemployment exclusion or PTC 8962 form) are not sent to the IRS. This year the IRS is making those corrections themselves for those who filed prior to the mid March tax law changes so that is why you & them have the same bottom lines.
