Why my federal tax due balance is increased a lot after I imported a 1099-div with very little dividends?

The refund (or tax due) will continue to change until you enter all your forms and information and complete the final review.

I recommend checking the return directly . To view the return in TurboTax, follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Select Tax Tools then Tools from the left menu.
3. Click on View Tax Summary in the Tools Center.
4. Click on Preview my 1040 from the left menu.
5. Scroll down in the 1040 and check line 8b Adjusted Gross Income.
