Why is turbotax asking me to pay for a state return? I purchased home and business download which includes a state return and I'm filing just CA state for 2 kids. ?

I prepare 3 tax returns: my 2 kids who are both in California and mine which is actually prepared by a CPA, I just like to get a preview but don't actually prepare or submit mine.

There is a state e-file charge of $25 when using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions.  The state program download to install on your computer is free.

You can avoid the state e-file fee by printing and mailing the state tax return.
