Why is TurboTax asking me to file, my wife and I filed jointly a month ago.

Will I get in trouble if I don’t file again?

Overzealous marketing. If you know you filed and the joint return was accepted then ignore the emails. I filed weeks ago too and and am getting them--they go right to the trash can.
