Why is the information imported on my w-2 different than my actual w-2

If your W-2 imported with information that does not match the actual paper W-2 you have, edit the data in the software. Sometimes imported data imports with mistakes. The data you enter on your tax return needs to match the information sent to the IRS by your employer--which is what is on your paper copy.
