Why is my eid only 8 numbers?

You mean EIN? Where? Ask the issuer if your W2 or 1099 is wrong.

Yes sorry. I've tried getting ahold of them before about not even receiving the w2 now it finally came and the ein is only 8 numbers instead of 9

They never answered or got back with me in the first place forgot to mention that so what can I do
