Is your child a college student? When you entered the information in MY INFO for them, did you go to the screen that asked about "Uncommon Situations" and indicate there that the child is a full-time student? The question is in a weird place in the interview and you have to really watch for it. It is important not to miss it. Go back through the questions in MY INFO for your student.
Be sure you checked that he lived with you all year if that is true. Time at school counts as time at home.
And on the screen titled "Less common situations for your child" one of those check boxes has to do with "support." It's asking you to indicate if the child paid more than half of their own living expenses. That's a common one to answer wrong since some people think it's asking if the parent provided over half the living expenses, when it's actually asking if the child provided more than half of their own support. So on that screen with a list of check boxes read the question carefully and answer appropriately.
NOTE: If the child is older than 18, you may have encountered an earlier Yes or No question asking if YOU provided over half of the child's living expenses. But on the subsequent screen "Less common situations for your child" which lists various situations, it will ask if the child provided more than half of their own living expenses.
