WHY IS IMPORTING DATA FROM BANKS NOT WORKING IN 2024 DESKTOP VERSION???

I have already read tons of threads with users having the same problem with many versions of TT. This has always worked in previous years, but is not working in 2024 version.

 

I am trying to import tax docs as I always do from major banks. When I choose my bank, it sends me out of the desktop app and into a browser. (It used to stay within the app). I enter my info, choose all the docs I want to import, then nothing. I don't get an error. It just goes back to the page to start all over again.

 

I have already tried everything listed in the other threads, including deleting cache, history, clearing everything, rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, disabling popup blockers, etc. STILL NOT WORKING.

 

Like I said, I am able to log in to bank, able to see and choose the documents, they simply are not importing.

 

I also checked with my bank and they confirmed that the permission to share with TT came through and was granted. The problem is with TT. 

 

The phone reps are usually helpful, but the rep yesterday was clueless. 90 minutes wasted.

 

If you have a LOT of these docs, the import features saves a lot of time and TT strongly recommends that we use import versus manual entry to avoid errors.

 

A shame that TT has a new glitch every year and tech support is no help. If anyone knows how to fix please help.
