Don't enter zeros for your 1095-A entries. If you have a zero leave that space blank.
If you are entering Column B, and have a zero, you may have an error on your Form 1095-A.
Column B contains information about your "second lowest cost silver plan" (SLCSP) premium.
If column B. in Part III "Coverage Information" has a $0 or is blank for any month someone in your household had coverage from the marketplace, this is likely an error.
If you think this is the case you can use the tax tool from Healthcare.gov to determine the premium for your SLCSP. If the number is not correct, it will provide a wrong calculation of your premium tax credit.

The actual thing to solve the problem was to delete all fields that contained $0.00 and leave them blank. Unfortunately, I had to do one field at a time, for the 26 cells, as I was deep in the review process. Weird the way it jumps from cell to cell in a random fashion.
I do not know if I could have gone all the way back to the original 1095A entry screen to do it in bulk, by deleting one row worth and copying it down the remaining rows.
Also, there was another minor bug in that the Form 8962 did not check a box for which person was the 1095A for. I was able to manually do it directly in the Form 8962.
Anyway, the E-File proceeded apace and refund has already been credited to the bank account.
BTW: The phone support call was absolutely, hands-down, the worst experience ever. The person had zero clue about any of this.
The fundamental problem was that only one of us had coverage and it was only in the 1st quarter of the year. I entered the values for Form 1095A exactly as they appeared on the form I received. Column B had $0.00 for the months of no coverage.
