Why I had e-mails saying e-filing accepted and then when I checked back, I found it was rejected?

When you file a return, you will get approvals from both federal and state.  Could it be that your email saying that the return was accepted, was just for the federal?  See the TurboTax help article below for information on how to fix a rejected return.
