Why does the Preferences section show my old address, when I've updated my new address in the Profile section?

If you want your new address to appear on your Form 1040 you have to enter that address in MY INFO when you prepare your tax return. Use the address you want the IRS and your state to use if they need to mail you a letter or a check.
