I have attempted to submit my federal taxes 4 times now. Each time it come back with an error code indicating that I need to include Form 8962 (Form that details the purchase of medical insurance through the government via Health Insurance Marketplace).
I do NOT, repeat NOT, need this form. My spouse and I both work and have medical insurance through our employer.
I don't know what box I clicked or did not click to make the IRS think this...
Turbo Tax has not indicated any errors each time I have it checked before I go to submit.
Each time I add or clear something out on Turbo Tax, I get the same result from the IRS... rejected.
Please help!!!

Is it possible that you had ACA insurance for a few days the beginning of 2021 or had signed up but never used it OR that one of you are under the age of 27 and on their parent's ACA insurance by mistake ? Contact the ACA and ask if your name shows up in the system at all in 2021 ... go to www.healthcare.gov
Thanks, but none of those are a possibility. I have been with the same company for 22 years and have used their insurance for the past 11 years. I appreciate the thought.
Also the first time in nearly 15 years of using TurboTax that I have had a return rejected...
since we can see your return, unless someone can come up with a solution, I would recommend contacting support. you can allow them to actually review the entries for your return.
or you can go to the medical section of the interview process and go thru the ACA interview questions.
make sure no is checked for receiving 1095-A

Maybe someone used your PII to sign up for insurance so you are a victim of ID theft OR the IRS could just be wrong and all you can do is paper file the return this year.
This form relates to the 1095-A form. I just ran my sister's simple taxes and she had this form. This form is referred to over and over again. You finally do the questionnaire for the form in the Deductions and Credits section under Medical, but I believe there was a question asking about it long, long before we got there. Look for any reference to ACA or 1095-A and see if you accidentally answered yes somewhere.
