Why does it find 2 transfer files with same date on my computer for 2015

installed and updated 2016 Turbo Tax Deluxe to use this year

when it found the files from Last year   it found for me 2 files on the same date

it also found 2 each for my Son and Sister

witch file do i use     when i start my taxes so i dont have to fill everything in again and have last years paperwork come up

Do any of the duplicate files have a tilde in front of the file name? TurboTax automatically saves files from time to time in case the file that you manually save gets corrupted. If the manually saved file works, you can ignore or delete the file with the tilde in the file name.

I have many returns to test in and the transfer box is showing all the files including the ~ files.  Ignore the ~ Tilde files.  You can click the File Name heading to sort by name (then click it again to toggle it) then at least all the ~ files will be sorted together at the bottom

I've noticed that the file list will also include tax files from other tax programs, HRB for example.

yes they did every first one did   Thanks to all of you for the speedy reply and I think i have it figured out now
