Why do my estimated tax vouchers say "DO NOT FILE FORM NOT FINAL"?

Yeah, the final versions of those IRS forms are not supposed to be ready until after 18 Feb.....the various state's equivalent forms could be later.

The Federal 2021 1040ES forms are not e-filed anyhow...so you can come back in a few weeks to prepare them more accurately later......or just use the IRS website to pay them without the form itself whenever you are ready to pay them:

Soooooooooooo, you're saying that legally we are allowed to file tax returns on January 1st, but TurboTax is not prepared? If the Feds are unprepared, you should let purchasers know that we cannot use TurboTax before the date government agencies approve submittal vis TurboTax

IRS just opened for processing return on Feb 12th.

Still many forms are not ready.
