Because the Free or previous version cannot handle all tax forms (or situations),  there are several places in the TurboTax interview where based on your answer(s) or inputted information, TurboTax may determine that the  version cannot handle your return and offer you an upgrade that will fit your tax situation.You may want to consider the upgrade to completely handle your filing needs.
