Why do i have to pay if i am going to mail in my document

When you use a paid version of the software---and you are posting from online Deluxe --- your fees are the same whether you e-file or mail the return in an envelope. The fee is for using the software -- there is no extra fee to e-file. You do not save money by mailing your return.
