Why do I have to buy 3 different versions of Turbo tax?

I have to buy the "Business" version so I can do Trust Fund return.  I have to buy Premier so I can file a return that included a K-1, I have to buy "Home and Business" so I can do my own personal taxes.  Shouldn't the most complicated version cover the rest of them?

NO.   You can have Business on the same computer as Home and Business or with Premier but you cannot install Home and Business and Premier on the same computer.   And there is no reason to do so.  Premier and Home and Business have all the same forms and schedules for an individual tax return.   Pick one or the other.   Business cannot be used for your individual tax return---it is only for c-corps, s-corps, multi-member LLCs, trusts and estates.   You cannot prepare your own Form 1040 on it.
