Why did Turbo Tax charge me $40 for filing my Federal Income Tax after I purchased the CD?

if you used the desktop version, then the only fees could be for efiling a STATE return or buying additional state tax returns.  they do not charge for FEDERAL e-filing.

I have the same issue. I'm paying $25 to e-file my state and $40 to file both!
