You may have earned enough money during those months to have a tax liability to Georgia. If you file a tax return in another state that you are a resident of, there may be a credit for taxes paid to another state that will allow your to reduce your tax in your home state by the amount of tax paid to Georgia, so you don't get double taxed. Look for that credit when you complete your home state tax return.
