Why are my estimated taxes paid listed as income in Turbotax?

TurboTax allows users to enter Estimated Tax Payments from both the Wages & Income section AND the Deductions & Credits section of the software.  This is purely for the convenience of the user, as the amounts can be entered in either place but will be reported on your tax return as Estimated Tax Payments.

To double check your return, you can preview your 1040 form before filing by following the steps below:
