Why are my 1099s data being stored on Intuit website - even with desktop version?

I have been using TT for several years now and have been generally happy with it.  I have always used the desktop version and am doing the same for the tax year 2024 as well. For the first time this year (2024 tax year), I tried importing the 1099 data and it went through fine. But later on, I decided to enter it manually, so deleted all the imported 1099s from my tax return and then entered each one manually.

Now I find that all the imported 1099s are being stored on the Intuit website which was a surprise to me and I frankly do NOT like this. I can see these under "Documents" section.   The only thing this section allows me to do is to download them and there is no option to delete them from their website.

Why is Intuit saving my personal data on their website (when I am using desktop version) and how do I get them to delete these sensitive information?
