Why am i charged for premium when didnt select it

Being charged 44$ extra for premium service benefits even though i didnt select it? Dont want the identity protection stuff

Are you a California filer and chose to pay your TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund?  If so, in California that adds the Premium Services Bundle at 44.99, which also includes other benefits as outlined in this FAQ.  (you said you didn't want it, so you may be able to remove it if you haven't already filed.)

If you haven't already filed, you should be able to remove it.  To remove the $44.99 fee for Premium Services you have to first remove Premium Services, and then pay your product fees upfront with credit card or debit card.  See the following:
