Why am I being directed here

Why am I being directed to this support forum when I am simply clicking on updates from within the program in order to determine what each update consists of.

This was a similar problem with last year's program. You seem to be redirecting to a new web page everyone who clicks on the update feature from within the program

After you download updates, if you are referring to the "more details" link, TurboTax Support has decided to no longer provide any release notes for updates.    If they continue with that decision, then at some point, that "more details" link may be removed in a future update.    As of now, it's non-functional in that regard, and I presume took you to his forum by default.

Yes, that is what I was referring to. Thank you for the prompt and helpful response. The forum itself is of interest to me, and I will continue to look at it.

To TurboTax:  I think it is a bad decision to remove the update notes when there are updates.  It does not matter as much early on in the return but when you have entered a lot of information, it was useful to know what areas have changes to know if you possibly need to review that area of the return before finalizing.
