Why am I being asked for spouse's AGI when we filed MARRIED JOINT and I just answered last year's return was rejected.

Filed last year Married Jointly.  Same status this year.  Last year's return was file but rejected for BOTH of us.   Why is TT prompting me for spouse's AGI when it just asked me about if MY return was rejected?

The software does not know that you filed joint last year---it is possible that you were each single last year, or that you were married to someone else last year, etc. etc. etc.   When you file a joint 2019 return the AGI is the same for each of you.  It is located on line 8b of your 2019 Form 1040.   If your return is being rejected for AGI ---try using zero for each spouse.

This is a fault of TurboTax. It should allow for either filed jointly, or separately. Poor programming.
