when i am trying to go through turbo tx, its telling me I can use form 1040A to file taxes. But I thought I need to use form 1040 because I own a rental property

Hi. Start with form 1040A. As you navigate through the TurboTax program you will be asked questions regarding your tax situation. If it becomes necessary for you to upgrade you will be prompted to do so at that time. This way you only pay for the product you actually need.
