Which Product?

For 2024, I have w2 income only - simple return.  But, i moved from NY to SC and bought a home.  Which product do I use?

In 2025, I will have a combination of w2 income and 1099 income, as well as business expenses to write off.  Which product do I use?

If you will have 1099 income and business expenses you will need to use either TurboTax Home and Business Desktop or TurboTax Premium Online.  If you use the Desktop version you have access to all of the forms as you are filing and can make changes/edits/entries directly on some of the forms.  You cannot do this with the online version.

Do you mean you will need to prepare a Schedule C for expenses you had from self-employment?

If you have self-employment income for which you will pay self-employment tax for Social Security and Medicare,  you will need to use online Premium software or any version of the desktop software download so that you can prepare a Schedule C for your business expenses.
