Where is form 8801?

I used TurboTax Premier to file my Federal 2016 return. I had to pay AMT, so TurboTax should have produced tax form 8801.

I am using TurboTax Premier to prepare my Federal 2017 return. To calculate AMT credits, the software is asking me to enter a number from form 8801 on my 2016 return. But when I look at the forms created in TurboTax Premier 2016, and at final return submitted to the IRS, I do not see form 8801.

So how do I get a number from a 2016 form that TurboTax should have produced?

Form 8801 is the form to report credit from prior-year AMT.

https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f8801.pdf

As you had no prior year AMT credit in 2016 and no 2016 AMT carried forward to 2017, TurboTax did not generate form 8801 as line 26 on form 8801 is 0. You should enter 0 when asked for line 26 of the 2016 form 8801.
