Hi,
Sorry if this has already been addressed but I haven't found it.
I am working on my 2020 taxes to be able to make some transactional decisions by tomorrow.
I do not see anywhere in TT 2020 (using Home and Business) to enter the 1200 Covid stimulus check.
Any feedback would be appreciated. I guess if there isn't a place yet I could just add it onto my unemployment since that is taxable as well, just to get my estimated #'s as close as possible.
Thanks in advance!
Remo

go to the very end of the interview...or type 'stimulus' in the "jump" section.
THE STIMULUS IS NOT TAXABLE INCOME - DO NOT PUT IT IN THE UNEMPLOYMENT INCOME SECTION.
Thank you! I was searching on "covid" and all I got was information about people who received PPP, etc.
Putting "stimulus" in the search box got me to the link you mentioned on "jump to". Thank you!!
Also, thank you for clarifying the stimulus money is not taxable. That's good to know. I thought I had seen in multiple articles that it was taxable, just like the unemployment add on.
Thanks!!!!
