Yes, your Medicare premiums are usually entered on the SSA-1099 section, along with the Social Security income.
If you pay for Medicare coverage, but aren't receiving Social Security benefits yet, you can still enter the Medicare premiums there. Here's how to find it:
- Open your return.
- Select Wages & Income.
- Select Start or Revisit to the right of Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099).
- Answer the first question Yes.
- Enter the information from SSA-1099 if you have one.
- Enter the amounts that you paid for Medicare Parts B, C and D here.
