Where do I report 2018 estimated payments on Form 1040?

Follow the directions below to enter your estimated tax payments.

  1. Log in and click take me to my return (unless already in).
  2. Click Tax Tools from the left-side menu.
  3. Select Tools from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click Topic Search, type Estimated Tax Payments and click Go.

Alternatively, you can follow the directions below.

  1. Click the Search box on the upper-right screen and type Estimated Tax Payments.
  2. Select the Jump to link in the search results.
  3. Choose Start next to the type of estimated tax payment you'd like to enter.
  4. Enter the amount of estimated tax you paid at each of the quarterly due dates.
