Where do I enter expert witness fees in income?

Did you get a 1099-misc?  If so, which box has the amount?

schedule C.  if you are getting expert witness fees that would seem to indicate its related to your main income-producing activity.  it will be subject to self-employment taxes.

You would report that amount on Sch C as self employment income.
