I installed 2014 TurboTax on my new windows computer using the cd that I originally bought. I have transferred over the files that contain the returns that I prepared on my old computer. How do I download and install the 2014 States that I purchased and used on my old windows computer?

When you installed the 2014 program on the new computer, it should allow you to download the 1 state program that was included in your previous installation. Be sure to run the program updater first.
If you purchased additional states, then sign into your online account (if applicable) and look in your account downloads first to see if they are there. You can use this link:

Otherwise, you'll need to phone TurboTax Customer Support and have them resolve this.
TIP: If your *.tax2014 file contains data for state returns, you should not open the *.tax2014 data file until you have all of the states installed, or it can produce errors.
Here's how to be assigned a phone number to the proper department at TT Customer Support during the business hours shown below (it will not display when they are closed). Read all the steps first.
1) Go to https://support.turbotax.intuit.com/contact/
2) Choose the product platform you are using.
3) Ask a question or keywords without quotes, and Submit.
4) On next page, skip the suggested articles if they don't help.
5) Scroll down, and you should be able to enter the Support module to get a phone number. (That will be grayed out when they are closed).
6) Support hours: 5AM-5PM Pacific (8AM-8 PM Eastern), Mon-Fri.
