I entered bank information when I filed my taxes for the payment to take place, but it hasn't been taken from my bank account yet.

The IRS will generally debit your account on the date you specify. If the date falls on a weekend or holiday, the funds are usually withdrawn the next business day. If it has been 7-10 days since your return was filed and accepted and the payment still hasn't been taken from your account, phone the IRS e-file Payment Services at 1-888-353-4537 or contact your state tax agency, as appropriate.
