When will Illinois forms be available?

you can also just try ---> Online --> Check For Updates
I think the problem is that the Illinois forms are out there, but not triggering the normal download.....

With regard to the availability of Illinois forms according to Turbotax support I was told to wait until 2/25. You can efile now but can't print, view or download forms. Also, forget the "workaround" and "additional workaround" posted on the help site; neither work.

I also tried "workaround" and "additional workaround" posted on the help site and neither worked. IL forms did not reinstall after following additional workaround instructions. Guess I'll have to wait until 2/25/19...

There was a HotFix mentioned in another thread...

just did it... and had a few hiccups - but just used a bigger hammer.
For me - it appears as an error after running the Hot Fix...

- download the HotFix zip file and extract and run it...
- then when I tried to start/open my TT, it displayed an error message about the tax file not having the state forms .... ERROR 190 -

So, went back to this website, did a search for ERROR 190 - and it appears that you can't apply the HotFix and then open a tax file that has the missing state forms.

Had to create a new empty tax file - and then - Online --> Check For Updates -
which downloaded the missing forms and all is well...

I tried the "additional workaround" and I ended up being charged for the Illinois state forms again even though they were my one free state. However, that resulted in the Illinois forms being put in the download section of my account. I downloaded the executable containing the forms, ran it, and it reinstalled the Illinois forms which allowed me to print my Illinois return. I have no idea why three calls into the support center all gave the same answer: wait until 2/25.

Where can I find the "download section of my account"?

On the lower left of the initial page click on the Intuit Account link. Then at the bottom of the resulting page click on "Turbotax CD/Download Billing and Shipping." Then on the "Your TurboTax Account" page click on the "Downloads" link. If you went through the "Additional Workaround" as I did and got billed for the Illinois forms then they should be listed. If you didn't then they may not be.

Today is 2/25/19 - tried to Print our Illinois 1040 -
and receive the Forms Are Missing error.
I'd love to post a screen grab -
but guess TT is really not interested...
on this forum platform.
Guess I'll just wait a few and see if things change...

The correct form file has been available on the TT download site for at least a week. I downloaded it and was able to print my IL forms on the 18th. Last night my son started TT to print his IL return and when TT started it had a forced update, (no option to do later) and that update included the Illinois fix.
