when will form 8606 be done so i can file?

tax year 2025, turbotax says its not ready?

the status of this form (+5329) in the forms availability tool was going in and out of available, 1/23 then 1/24 dates last week, now says available (which could also change) so I assume from this activity that it's imminent, presumably some sort of final sticking point with IRS on these forms... but there hasn't been a s/w update yet for desktop at least, online may get it faster.

@GabiU @CatinaT1 any word on 8606 / 5329 availability for filing?

These should be available now. 

You may need to do a manual update. 

Try clearing your Cache and Cookies and then try this link instructions.

if using desktop - 8606/5329 are available in the s/w update this morning, check for updates
