Hello so I applied for fafsa in November. I have received some grants. I started school this year January 3, 2024. I also got a tuition refund from my school. That tuition refund I got on January 2, 2024 do I have to file it on my taxes this season? Or next tax season 2025?

Since it was received this year it will not be reported until you file your 2024 tax return.

Information regarding tuition, grants, etc. etc. that happened in 2024 gets entered on a 2024 tax return. It does not go on your 2023 return. Next year in 2025, you will prepare a 2024 tax return and enter the information for 2024.
