When im on the review part of my taxes it says i missed the adoption paper but my dependant is my biological son he just has a different last name

TurboTax may be reading from that, but you may have also not marked the correct parent on your son's information screens.   You will need to delete the adoption form created in your tax file and then double-check the selections marked for your son's information.

To delete a specific form in TurboTax Online you can follow these steps:

1. Within your return, click on Tax Tools in the black menu on the left side of the screen.
2. Click on Tools.
3. Click on Delete a Form. 
4. Scroll down to your Adoptive Child Worksheet and/or Adoption Carryover Computation Wksht and click Delete.
5. Click My Info in the black menu bar to get back into your tax returns.
6. Click Edit for your son and verify all your answers to the questions about him.
