When I downloaded the 2018 turbotax the price was $39.95. Now that I'm ready to file the price is showing $49.95 ?

The price is based upon when you pay. The early bird discount expired on Feb 28, and emails were sent out about this.

In the future, you can pay to lock in the lower price and then file when you are ready.
