When I click add a state why does my refund amount change?

I received my state but now the amount back is different from what I have received and I still haven’t gotten my federal (I have a dependent and was on UI for 2 months due to COVID)

The taxation of unemployment benefits changed recently, so it may be that you are due an additional refund amount. If so, as of now the IRS is requesting that you do not amend your return, since it is likely they will adjust your return automatically and send you an additional refund.
