What makes you think that?

All desktop editions (CD/download) can prepare a Schedule E (Basic, Deluxe, Premier, and Home and Business).

In Online TurboTax, only Premier and the Self-Employed Edition can prepare Schedule E, as well as their Live counterparts; i.e., Live Premier and Live Self-Employed.

NOTE: The TurboTax IRS Free File Program can also handle Schedule E if one qualifies to use that free program. (This is free, but is fully-featured, if one qualifies, and is NOT the same as the very-limited Free Edition product.)
