Question

What tax form do I use?

I’m retired, have a 1099R Annuity Paid, and 1099-C Cancellation of Debt Discharged on a credit card.  I should not have to pay taxes on amount listed but don’t know how to do.

Does TurboTax handle this and what tax form do I use?  I normally use Form 1040-SR to file.

Any help you can give is welcome.

You can still use Form 1040-SR. There aren't any other caveats that come with using this form.

When you enter your 1099-C,e TurboTax will ask follow up questions to determine if it's taxable or not.

    How do I enter a 1099-C?
