What's the differnice between a 1040 and a 1040A? Why is my return 1page. 2017 was 2 pages.

With the new tax law enacted for 2018, all previous 1040 forms were eliminated and replaced by a new form 1040 and six new schedules 1-6. The new form 1040 is actually two half pages that TurboTax prints on 1 sheet. So you will see the bottom of p. 1 in the middles of the sheet.
