What is the "residency status" of a taxpayer who used to live in a state for many years, but passed away in April for the tax year to be filed? (full-year or part-year)?

e.g. filing taxes for 2023 and the taxpayer passed away in April. What would be his/her residency status? full-year resident or part-year resident until the day of death?

Since the taxpayer did not move/live in any other states, full-year resident in the state they lived in is correct.  In the "My Info" section indicate they lived in the resident state on 31 Dec and answer "No" they did not live in any other state.
