what is the maximum charitable donations deduction without a receipt?

I plan to itemize deductions for tax year 2021.  Can I deduct charitable donations without a receipt?  If so, what is the maximum amount (married filing jointly)?

No, if the donation is over $250, then you also need written acknowledgment from the charity in order to have sufficient documentation if requested by the IRS.
