A Form W-2 shows the wages and taxes withheld from your job during the year. You would get that form from your employer.

A Form 1098-T is a tuition statement that you would receive from your school. You use that to enter your education costs to determine if you are eligible for any credits or deductions.

If my scholarship on tuition statement 1098-t is also reported on W-2 (since it's a graduate assistantship) do I still submit both forms or just one?
